On Saturday 6th April, 2024, I emerged the winner of the 2024 Under 40 CEOs “Outstanding Youth Political Influencer of the Year” Award.
I felt humbled and elated to have been recognised to this very level and I see this as a call to do more in terms of service delivery to the good people of Benue State.
The occasion was the prestigious Under 40 CEOs Dinner and launch of a groundbreaking magazine, held at the elegant Lush Event Center. With the theme “Celebrating Innovation,” the event brought together a dynamic ensemble of young minds eager to shape the future of Benue and Nigeria at large.
In my address, I Hon Tiza Isaac Imojime reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to supporting Benue’s budding entrepreneurs. I emphasized the importance of identifying local needs and crafting innovative solutions to propel the state onto the global stage. “Service to humanity must be deliberate,”
Beyond my inspiring words, my impact resonated even more profoundly as I was honored with the distinguished title of “Outstanding Youth Political Influencer of the Year” for 2024. This accolade underscored not only my dedication to public service but also my ability to effect meaningful change within my community.
Reflecting on the event, Mr. Bennet Abul, the Convener of Under 40 CEOs, expressed his delight at the gathering of like-minded individuals united in their mission to uplift Benue and Nigeria. He highlighted the importance of nurturing young talent and fostering an environment conducive to entrepreneurial success.
The event boasted a diverse array of attendees, including prominent figures such as Barr. Bemsen Fidelis Mnyim, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and Public Order, and Hon. Aondowase Kunde, Commissioner for Humanitarian and Disaster Management. Their presence underscored the significance of collaboration across various sectors in driving sustainable development.
Throughout the evening, music filled the air, complementing the vibrant atmosphere of creativity and innovation. Attendees marveled at displays of handcrafted materials by young entrepreneurs, as well as innovative processed foods derived from yam, cassava, and maize.
As the curtains closed on this momentous occasion, it was evident that my vision and leadership had left an indelible mark on all who attended. My unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive governance epitomized the spirit of Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia’s administration, setting a precedent for a brighter, more prosperous future for Benue State.
I want to encourage the youth specifically in Benue State, to always identify needs in their immediate environment with the aim of preferring solutions that would set the state on the global map and also service to humanity must be deliberate if one must excel in life.
